Going Deeper into ESG, Forest Actively Practices Sustainable Development

Forest is actively involved in various ESG initiatives, with the primary objective of generating value for our employees, clients, communities, and the wider society. Our commitment to ESG is evident throughout our project investment, development, and operational processes, where we implement a comprehensive set of works, measures, and elements to ensure sustainable and responsible practices.

I.  Sustainable Development and Land Resources Preservation

  • Avoided land parcel with environmental sensitive attributes such as land under designated agricultural use, land with exposure to high natural hazardous risks and land degradation

  • Maximized utilization rate, greenery ratio as well as diversity of plants of all sites concerned

  • Design element to fulfill national policy of Sponge City – a planning initiative aim at strengthening flooding control by mimicking the natural hydrological cycle system in terms of building materials and design to absorb, store land surface stormwater and gradually disperse it back for daily usage

II.  Energy Conservation and Power Consumption

  • Autoclaved lightweight aerated concrete plate used in exterior facade for better performance of thermal insulation and mitigation of heat loss

  • Water and electricity consumption meters installed to monitor the usage flow

  • Natural lighting skyline and ventilation devices incorporated to reduce energy costs

  • Glass wool fiber is used in partition walls and roof as insulation materials

III.  Water Conservation and Water Resources Utilization

  • Water saving sanitary wares used in interior fit out

  • Pavement built with permeable materials, lawn with gradient and rainwater collection devices are built for collection of rainwater for recycle

Social (S) Initiatives:

  • Health and Safety: Forest offer regular health and wellness programs for our employees and tenants to promote overall well-being. Safety risks are identified, mitigated and management with our Health and Safety Policy, management procedures and operational guidelines across our operations

  • Education and Skill Development Programs: Forest collaborate with educational organizations to offer skill development and training programs for employees and our stakeholders

  • Support for Non-Profit Organizations: Forest actively partners with local non-profit organizations and charities to support their initiatives
